This installation lets me to go near Winterhold and do anything I desire BUT I have an even more drastical problem now. I have followed every little detail of the installation of the STEP:Extended 2.2.9.1 and STEP: REGS packs (consider it a word-to-word installation with no additional INI-tweaks) and added just a very few mods at the end of the installation (Island Fast Travel, Sk圜omplete, Unread Books Glow, Better Falskaar And Wyrmstooth Map). I thought, 'hey, it might be important for me when even the main quest is leading me there'.
I had a problem with my STEP:Extended+ STEP: REGS installation beforehand (it was based on an older 2.2.9 revision and was downloaded as a whole pack, with REGS added later on) and was about to reinstall the game, as such things as fast-travelling (or travelling by any means) to or near Winterhold made my game to CTD in an instant.
